Low-Cost Rotor Balance Training Design

Abstract This work proposes the low-cost design and manufacture of an experimental rotor for specialized undergraduate training in field mechanical vibrations. Likewise, plane balancing methodology is presented using influence coefficient method. To keep costs low, a commercial rotating element will be used which planes assembled at ends, ensuring that system’s nominal speed passes through two its natural frequencies. prototype improve learning by theoretically experimentally analyzing concepts international standard.
